Mindy & Jon

March 2025

Surrounded by snowy mountains, our parents, and our sisters, we finally made it official in Whitefish, Montana on March 22nd of this year. We could not have asked for a more perfect day and location to exchange our vows and start this next phase of our life together.

Though our celebration was small, we felt surrounded by our loved ones near and far--you were in our hearts on our special day. Our friends, family, and those we love most are all over the country and world, and the magnitude of that community was with us on our ceremony day and remains as we go forward in married life.

We look forward to celebrating with you in our own ways in the seasons ahead, and are so grateful for your warmth and support as we start this next chapter.

Why we care: they support science-based conservation of vital lands and waters. Mindy used to work with them and we love their mission—Mindy’s Uncle Joe also did amazing work with them in Indiana!

Gifts

We’re so lucky to have found each other at a time in life when we need and want for very little.
Your love and presence in our lives is more than enough.
If you feel truly moved to give a gift, we invite you to consider supporting a cause that helps make the world a bit brighter. Choose something important to you, or take a look at some of our favorites:

Why we care: they create life-changing wishes for children with critical illness, and Mindy’s sister (Stephanie) works for them in Utah!

Central Christian Church (Indy)

Why we care: their mission includes a food bank, free clothing pantry, and other resources in downtown Indy. A lot of people we love (including David and Jenny) attend and contribute to this work.

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers

Why we care: Jon grew up hunting public lands in Idaho (and still chases elk with his dad), and we both care greatly about the conservation of natural resources and access to public lands.

Hills and Rivers Housing Trust

Why we care: they create and preserve safe, inclusive, and affordable housing in our community. Jon is on their board!

National Public Radio

Why we care: we care about equitable, open access to accurate media and are big fans of journalistic integrity. Plus, we’re huge suckers for, “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me!

Inland Oasis

Why we care: they support our community with inclusive educational, social, and health programing so everyone can feel safe and be supported.

United Way

Why we care: they bring people and resources together in our communities. They support a number of other amazing non-profits, and we’ve worked with them in both Whitman County and Moscow/Latah County.
